Biography

Hu Biao, a member of the Communist Party of China, is currently an associate professor ( tenured ) at the School of Civil and Transportation Engineering of Shenzhen University, a distinguished researcher, a doctoral supervisor, and a master's supervisor. He recruits 2-3 master's students and 1 doctoral student every year. His research directions include composite structures, structural reinforcement, structural durability, and solid waste resource utilization. He has published more than 50 SCI papers in important journals (including Journal of Structural Engineering ASCE; Engineering Structures; Composites Part B), and has been granted 14 Chinese invention patents, 7 US/UK invention patents, 4 Chinese utility model patents, and 11 software copyrights.
